Reed Diffuser or Aroma Diffuser work through a process called capillary action, wherein the fragrance oil (which is alcohol base) is drawn up through the reeds and evaporates into the air by itself because alcohol make fragrance dilute and evaporative, that simply start dispersing the aroma. It's a simply method to dispurse fragrance without electricity or fire, 24/7. The key content in a Reed Diffuser are:

The reeds: These are typically made of rattan or bamboo and have small channels running through them. These channels allow the oil to travel up the reed.

The fragrance oil: This is a mixture of essential oil/ carrier oil and  IPA/ Alchol that break the oil molecules to make it light.

The bottle: This holds the fragrance oil and the reeds.

Here are some tips for using a reed diffuser:
Place the diffuser in a well-ventilated area to help disperse the scent, it need air to dispurse (size of room/washroom play a vital role a small Reed diffuser with 5 sticks can work on upto 10x10 ft area-semiclosed, for bigger area add-on number of Reed diffusers)

To get it started, simply open the oil bottle and insert reed sticks and place at desired location. Make sure the sticks are not touching each other and are flaired.

Flip the reeds occasionally to refresh the scent.

You can reduce the number of sticks if you feel the aroma is too strong OR if you want your diffuser fragrance to last longer.

Replace the reeds every few months to maintain optimal performance because the sticks may choke with dust or hard particle.

If you got a read diffuser with 50 ml bottle; it will last around 15 days however the sticks will consume all the oil within 4-5 days but that doesn't mean that the Reed diffuser will finish within 4 to 5 days; the stick will remain wet for the next 15 days and will keep evaporating fragrance in the air continuously.
