How a Reed Diffuser works?Reed Diffuser or Aroma Diffuser work through a process called capillary action, wherein the fragrance oil (which is alcohol base) is drawn up through the reeds and evaporates into the air by itself because alcohol make fragrance dilute and evaporative, that simply start dispersing the aroma. It's a simply method to dispurse fragrance without electricity or fire, 24/7. The key content in a Reed Diffuser are: The reeds: These are typically made of rattan or bamboo and have small channels running through them. These channels allow the oil to travel up the reed. The fragrance oil: This is a mixture of essential oil/ carrier oil and IPA/ Alchol that break the oil molecules to make it light. The bottle: This holds the fragrance oil and the reeds.
